Kaihan Danesh

Kaihan Danesh is a second year Neuroscience major. Kaihan is interested in the effects of cannabis on pain relief in patients with chronic pain and on opioid addiction.

Giselle Burns

Giselle Burns is a third year Psychobiology major. Her interests are in the ways cannabis affects mental health, such as depression and anxiety, and sleep.

Josh Cassarino

Josh Cassarino is a fourth year physiology major. His interests lie in utilizing cannabinoids and terpenes in the realm of sports medicine and orthopaedics, especially for treatment of traumatic injuries and postoperative pain management.

Cara Cavarretta

Cara Cavarretta graduated in 2022 with a major in Psychobiology. Her interests are in psychodermatology, the treatment of skin disorders using psychological and psychiatric techniques by addressing the interaction between mind and skin

Jordan Lo

Jordan Lo graduated in 2022 with a major in Human Biology and Society. She is interested in how adverse childhood experiences and other social factors affect cannabis use and eating behavior.

Sienna Martinez

Sienna Martinez is a third year Psychobiology major. She is interested in learning about sex-specific public health approaches related to medical and non-medical cannabis use.

Maria Poblete

Maria Poblete graduated in 2022 with a major in Neuroscience major with a minor in Global Health. She is interested in the impacts of cannabis and its constituents on neural development and degeneration, especially in patients with dementia.

Ellery Schlingman

Ellery Schlingmann graduated in 2022 with a major in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology major with minors in Biomedical Research and the Study of Religion. She is interested in studying the impacts of eating behavior as it relates to mental health and more specifically anxiety.

Liza Strong

Liza Strong graduated in 2022 with a major in Psychology. She is interested in exploring the risk-factors associated with cannabis use disorder, as well as the behavioral and physical health effects of cannabis dependence.

Kendall White

Kendall White graduated in 2022 with a major in psychobiology. She is especially interested in the effects of cannabis on HIV-associated inflammation.
