Talk Title: Trends in medical cannabis use during COVID-19: Findings from a US-based sample of adults

Bio: Dr. Stephanie Lake (she/her) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, UCLA. Dr. Lake recently completed her doctoral studies in population and public health at UBC, where she held scholarships from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation. Her doctoral research, based at the BC Centre on Substance Use, explored the use of cannabis for therapeutic and harm reduction purposes among marginalized people who use illicit drugs in Vancouver amidst an intensifying drug poisoning crisis. Dr. Lake has published over 25 peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals including PLOS Medicine, Clinical Psychology Review, Drug and Alcohol Dependence, and Addiction.
